And Our Visitors Say.......

We are very proud to share with you what recent visitors to Fourfields have said about our brilliant school!

I just wanted to thank you all for your help with my son's medicine and his appointment today. It is so lovely to know your child is at such a supportive and kind school.

We just wanted to say thank you to all the staff involved in giving Year 4 such a fantastic week of experiences last week. The play was brilliant! Everyone had worked so hard and to see the confidence, talent and enjoyment of the chidlren was lovely. Our child loved being part of it and I'm sure she will remember it forever (as we will).

Caythorpe was another fantastic experience for them, with so many different activities to try.  The staff did a brilliant job in looking after them all and keeping parents updated and reassured by Seesaw. It was so nice to be able to see what they were doing and know that they were ok. Thank you Fourfields.

It is no exaggeration to say that our daughter is 'orders of magnitude' happier at your school and our son is back in 'top gear'. Please pass on our thanks to those involved in their settling in period.

Our child has done nothing but thrive and grow beyond all recognition thanks to the amazing teaching she has received. Thank you for making Fourfields the kind of school parents really want to send their children too.

Wonderful teaching staff, inspirational topics based on the children's interests. I cannot fault any aspect. We are so lucky to send our daughter into school with a bounce in her step and excited about her learning. Always filled with new ideas and belief in herself! Thank you!

I feel that the school is extremely well led and managed and that this promotes a really positive vibe within the school. I also feel that the school is very forward thinking and is keen to grab any new opportunities that it can which provide an exciting learning environment for the children.

Communication is fantastic; Mrs Blyth and the team do a fantastic job!

We all just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the care, support and hard work that you and all the staff give to our child, who always look out for her best interests and keep her on the straight and narrow. All the staff have been amazing with her, realising her challenges and embracing them. from gardening to friendship clubs t sensory circuits and breakfast club they have all been her constant this last two years! Thank you so much you are all undoubtedly fabulous!

Other Partners

Thank you for making me so welcome in your school on the occasion of my visit. It was a real pleasure to meet the pupils, staff, parents and governors. The school is engaged in delivering excellent provision.

Fourfields is a creative and stimulating learning environment that reflects inclusive practices in the implementation of policy and working practices. This is acheived through excellent leadership, hard working staff and pupils who are enthusiastic and willing to learn. Provision is established on the basis of need and all aspects are thoroughly monitored and evaluated to ensure continual imporvement. There is a close team ethos throughout the school and communication between stakeholders is valued. There is mutual respect between all in the school and behaviour for learning is excellent.

The values and ethos of the school celebrates and supports the acheivement of not just all pupils but the whole child. There are established systems for assessing pupil progress, for making appropriate provision for those who may need additional support and excellent transition systems into school and through school. I also recommend that the school consider applying for Centre of Excellence status, which I would fully endorse. John Murray, Inclusion Quality Mark Assessor Feb 18

I would like to thank you and your staff for making our students so welcome at your school. Your staff have a wealth of experience which provided inspiration for our trainees as well as excellent support and encouragement throughout the placement. At the outset thy were welcomed into the school community and made to feel part of the school team. The positive ethos and systematic approaches to the curriculum had a strong impact on them.

Finally I would like to thank the school for the warm welcome given to me whilst visiting. Your school's partnership with the faculty is valued enormously.

Huge thanks for accommodating the Stukeley Two today. They came back massively inspired - I look forward to some of the magic rubbing off back here!

I just wanted to say thank you for today. The film crew were very impressed with the school and how accommodating you were.  All three lessons provided excellent examples for the module and the teachers were both great to work with. The children were also fantastic especially in the interviews!

I just wanted to thank you for inviting me into your school. I thoroughly enjoyed working with your AMAZING staff. Your TAs, quite honestly, are some of the best I have come across in a long time - dedicated and vastly knowledgeable about teaching phonics. I enjoyed challenging your staff, pushing them to take on a more whole class multi sensory approach, based around real text, and they all were so imaginative once I's sewn a few seeds. If I can support further, then please contact me, as it truly would be a pleasure and frankly a refreshing change working with such a dynamic fun team.

I just wanted to say how lovely it was to meet you and your staff today.

I found our conversation refreshing and reassuring in this climate of pressure! The trainees commented on how available you are and how you pop in and check on people. I explained that was good practice and rare these days; so well done you! I am well aware Heads have to support their staff and don't always get the support they need; so I am giving it and the recognition! I also pointed out that was how a good head knows what is going on and that the well being of the staff impacts on the well being and performance of the children and should be a priority!

They realise how lucky they are to be welcomed into your school and to be working with Miss Douglas. I also wished to commend your Site Manager to you. he was the first point of contact for me; he took the trouble to check I was being seen and to ensure I got a drink - bless him. If he is an indication of what you expect from staff the he has proved what a good bunch you have!
